Flying the Huey, flying the Huey, flying the Huey.... especially in Hardcore....

Phu Bai Valley, stayed alive for HALF THE MATCH on hardcore before being shot down... I am especially good on that map on hardcore since I can hide the bird in and out of the treetops even more effectively without the radar or minimap to reveal my position; also my missiles of course kill that much more easily...

Operations Hastings, which sucks for cover for Huey flying, so to compensate when crossing the map I usually fly under the bridge.... and one game (maybe because I had a neighbor over and I was showing off...) I went under that bridge 3 times back to back and then the 4th time... I caught my tail rotors and got 'hooked' on the bridge and shot to pieces/crashed...

DFA battlefield moments - Page 6 Empty Conquest Mode Port Valdez Choking

    Post by D divine1 Wed Feb 09, 2011 2:00 am

Played with Pysco Karma,Dented Bullet and Sc4eface .Epic battles on Conquest mode (Port Valdez)as we poned the Enemy last night! Our Squad Held control of 2 flags and let them have one closest to there base, then poned them at the choke points on Port Valdez.

Pysco karma and Dentedbullet controlled the Dark skies of Valdez whilst myslef and Sc4eface choked them with the T90,ATmines(Very Happy)and an assortment of Rocket Launchers. The Enemy threw everything at us, Tanks, Rocket Launchers, Mortars, they even tried to be creative driving Cav's and Atv's armed with C4 at us, Karma and Bullet came swooping out of the Heavens to reak Havoc on them 'BOOM BOOM POW!' the enemy were crushed.

At the end of the 2 rounds the enemy team score board was pale in comparison to ours as they could only reach 900 points while we averaged over 3000 points.

Tonight's casual event which turned into a "normal" conquest game on White Rush. Those in the game were limited to DFA members, their friends and 2 random guys who found their way in somehow.

A few DFA members and I before the casual event started were playing Squad DM. Dead and I were 2 people against 3 teams of four. A squad (Rifohm and I forgot who else) were stationed in a building guarding it. Me, as a recon, killed all of them repeatedly about 4 times for each player and finally died because I ran out of pistol ammo.

On Harvest Day- Jumped into a tank with Psyco. We began to rumble accross the stone bridge and the darn thing collapses sending us into the water.....I should not have had that extra stack of pancakes this morning!

We played Rush with LAngy, Ria, kuddles, gdead, and some others can't remember who excactly I just woke up, in the Map Laguna Presa? Anyway with the blackhawk.
We where attacking, and I flew the Blackhawk, wich in my eyes with some great flying (others need to tell me that lol)

I was the most epic taxi driver evah! Ria and Langy were taking high points on rocks, and the lighthouse, so everytime I gave them a quick pick-up, and dropped them off quickly on top of high rocks, with tactical sight of the enemy.
Using smoke to piss of the enemy who tried to trace us time after time (lol @ langy the jumping omg-where-traced!-coward)
Think we in the blackhawk made the win, since we dropped off people perfect, quick and effecient, picking up langy from the lighthouse perfect as I may say myselve.

When Kuddles picked up the chopper, picked me up, and we switched drivers effecient since I had smoke, it was awsome.
We only failed once with that and fell into the water lol.
He switched, but on my screen he was still in the driver seat so we just fell lol.

One of my best games with you guys, thinking how fast, effecient we where, next to perfect communication!

Indeed, that was a good round. I think we would have lost without our chopper tactics, which everyone implemented exceptionally well.

We played a Port Valdez game today where we only had 20 tickets left when winning, so we decided to shape up and focus. Next game we were defending Harvest Day rush, 7 or 8 of us, and it is one of the best performances I have seen from DFA in a public game in a long time. Two squads were assigned different roles, anti-tank and anti-infantry, and the squads responded to threats as they arose. Targets were being called out left and right, focus-fired down, and were dead in seconds. This included tanks. The enemies never got past us, and they were actually a quite good 12-man team of what seemed to be random people. I am making the assumption that they were, but I am still impressed by the performance of the people representing DFA in that game.

Fantastic game where we showed what we can really do when we focus, as we absolutely slaughtered them, rather decent opponents. Good times!

The practice match today turned into a very entertaining (and challenging) match with many DFA members (and trialists) participating:

Today during the event, we were playing rush on a sandy map...anyway. Very early into the game I had laid out some Anti-tank mines hoping I would get a kill. Well, 30 minutes into the game, I didn't get a tank or 4 wheeler kill...I GOT A MOTHER FUCKING HELICOPTER! That was great. Going to remember that for the rest of my life.
