Battlefield 3 Gameplay

Dude that's sick. I love that we're playing as the US Marines again.

And the single player is all well and good, I'll play and enjoy the shit out of it, but I'm reserving judgment on the game as a whole until I get a good look at the MP.

I want to play as the British Forces or the NZSAS.

If thats Campaign imagine multiplayer!

Also that was graphics for PC imagine the graphics for console!

Looks like 95% of all shooters released these days to be quite honest. GFX look a little better than BC2.

I am just happy if we get USMC MEC and the Chinese back and don't forget the Medic with a bloody assault rifle (iron sights only) and not a fucking LMG!!! IT'S A MEDIC!!!

If they recreated BF2 with no changes they would be retarded. Thats more or less doing what Call of Duty is doing.

You know what I think would be awesome? Being able to actually 'roll' on the ground and fire (like in Ghost Recon, you can in that game). Or better yet, when 'roll' is combined with the 'jump' when standing or sneaking, you'll dive and roll in the direction you indicate. Run run run for the M-Comm, and they start opening up on you, and you go diving for cover...roll behind it... rolling out the other side, firing.... tango down...rolling behind cover....

Now THAT would be cool. And sniping would be a nightmare. But it would be something that was as fast as your current... momentum.... Prone, and you move slowly. If you are sprinting and you dive, it's as fast as you are moving, that sort of thing. Guys with Lightweight would turn into a bunch of acrobats. It would be great.

But at least we could all dive and roll around like a bunch of Commandos.

If that was going to be in the game...poor sniper campers...like, its hard enough for them when the enemy is moving and does not stand still in the same place for 10-60 sec but dive and roll?! that would make them sad pandas.

Bringing in some Spetsnaz tactics Ria lol! That would be crazy. But you must ask yourself would you be able to put up with the lag of one rolling into you and dissapearing for 2 seconds?

I was talking in terms of a lack in progress for the game. Just the same things over and over. CoD got a good reputation and has used it to milk games by producing far to many games to quickly without proper changes or enhancements.

Sure, the game wont progress much, that is true. I wouldn't be surprised though if EA cashed in heavily if they remade BF2 with better graphics. BF2 is/was probably the most popular game in the series.

But why not take the best of BF2 and combine it with their experiences with the other BF games (such as BC2) and bump the quality up even further?

There's always room for improvement, and the same goes for BF2.

I am just asking for the simple things that make a tactical game even better because BFBC2 although I love that game, fucked the tactical stuff up to be blunt. No squad leader, being able to spawn on anyone in your squad, having an assault kit with ammo and GL a medic with an LMG.... The list goes on.

4 man squads made it boring. I want 6 man squads and 7 different classes which make you think or at least make the SQUAD LEADER! think what kind of classes the team should use. But then what I do not want back is randomly chucking around medic bags when you run over, bang full health back. But I do want health bars :)I like the idea of being resupplied over that small amount of time .


Oh and I agree with Sp4, BF2 = Best game in the series no doubt!
But hey, little bit of frostbite engine in there to blow stuff would be even cooler

Well, DICE has already said for a fact that BF3 will have 4 classes. They lead designer said that was the 'sweet spot' for him. As for squad leaders and commanders and everything else, we don't know yet. Hopefully we'll get a peek at the MP soon!

The Demo comes out on June 5th "im so excited! and i just cant hide it!"

This is for a console man. There wont be squad leaders, there wont be 6 man squads, there wont be a commo rose.

-E- I also didn't say BF2 was the best in the series, I actually preferred 2142 but 80% of the BF series fans did not.
