Potential game changer: winning the initiative either allowing or resulting in the placing of AT mines. If a couple of guys place AT mines every entrance can be sealed off, and you'll know if someone's coming as you'll hear the explosion if they detect the AT mines and destroy them.

I believe I understand the concept you are trying to get across.

so referring to what you typed up regarding defenders you are saying that in the instance the defenders lose both their mcomm stations there is a short time for them to prepare and setup their next defensive line before the attacks can roll in and take adavantage of the general dissaray of the defence team?

Learn to grammar Kebo, holy shit. :P

If I'm on defence and we lose both MCOMs I hide like a bitch in their new base and try flank them all.

Yeah Kaz, you've got the idea...

Try to notice next time you are out there that there are 'initiative moments' that occur, either as a whole team, a squad, or as an individual. If you find you can start predicting the next initiative moment coming up, then you are more likely to 'win the initiative' when it comes. Alternatively, if you realize that you are losing the initiative, you can react accordingly.

I do not believe that there is a problem with my grammer, my previous post was one long sentence without breaks or pauses.

In defence i find if our team is up in the enemy and can slow them and cut off choke points or flanking runs its a win for defence. Also in defence if both your points are armed what one would you go for the one in the building or outside?

Outside. The one in a building is likely to get collapsed at some point anyways, something which is very hard to avoid with all the mortars, rocket launchers, noob tubes and heavy vehicles available.

Generally taking the initiative and putting the enemy on their heels early on wins games.

yeah and then the enemy's attack is narrowed down to one point and if the team can keep a good perimeter of defence its generlly a win.

Winning the initiative is just as critically important for attackers, too...
