FYI Hardcore

Just wanted to give a tip. for those who didn't knew yet (I didn't realize it at first either)
As we all know Hardcore doens't have a tactical HUD (Mini map)
WRONG!

Another DFA pointed this out to me (and some others)
HE asked us to spot the chopper and tanks, in wich we replied "it doesn't matter, it's hardcore"

In wich he simply replied "press start you'll have a minimap there where I can see the chopper".

So just a heads up, spotting is important on hardcore aswell!
This may be the difference in a win or loose in our match

Good post!!! Also this is good for us snipers... So what I like to do is throw motion balls and hide in a corner and call out tango's to the rest of my squad while in the start menu. This tactic is great for rush but I would imagine this would be counter productive on conquest due to the sheer chaos on the battlefield.

I've been using this bug(?) since I was about to leave a hardcore game in rage because I couldn't see the enimies, and then suddenly I saw a minimap infront of me Shite.. And because of this I always go recon on hardcore and wait silently until the prey gets close... Ka-Pooow.

Abso-friggin-lutely guys !!!

(Some of us) have been using this technique on Hardcore already (me especially). Throw the motion balls, check the map quick, call out how many red dots and where, fight some, do it again. Rinse. Soak. Repeat.

Also, when you are re-spawning, your re-spawn map will show red dots for Tangos who are spotted or otherwise engaged (in other words, known).

So even though no red dots show up in battle across your screen, for God's sake SPOT SPOT SPOT anyway.

When people die and are re-spawning, they'll show up and they can be called out (as well as the useful Intel as to where you should re-spawn).

Also, you still get the 'spotting' points bonus, despite no red dots on the in-battle screen.
