We are either 3rd second or First every time We were Euro Champions a lot and the way we play Football that deserves to be seen, I favor Holland as my second Nation I love that Country as well Holland play very nice football as well. And I congratulate you on that second place as this is the second time Holland have reached the finals. Now Spain though just did not deserve that Trophy! 1-0 win every time. A world Cup is partly about how efficient you are but also the love these 11 players show to their Home country by playing great looking football with combination passes and nice goals and a good attitude towards the other team.

Spain ticked none of these for me. Germany and Holland did.

I agree. Here in Aus our league is low paying but the gameplay is excellent.

I don't know much about football, but the two UK teams I really respect are Manchester United and Arsenal. The former is one of the few teams who still train their own players, Rooney, Scholes, Giggs and so on. Most top teams just buy professional players, but Ferguson is the kind of guy who cries when he takes a shit, he's that careful with his money. So again: I really, really respect Manchester United for being one of the few UK teams that maintain the football sports for UK youth by training their own players rather than buying them.

For those who have real football knowledge, Ajax
They may not be the best team (although one of the best in the Netherlands)
Most of the best players are from Ajax, and trained by Ajax

Not gunna lie, I don't follow any sports really....and yes I know what football is even though I am American (flipping crazy right!) Anywho since im basically like 75% italian I always root for the, in world cup. Even though they sucked it up this last time. My next fav team is probably germany. England Club Football is very boring in my opinion.
Who wins the Premier League every year? Arsenal Chelsea Liverpool Manchester United or Manchester City. They have the best teams and always win.

Other Countries leagues are much better. Germany for example always had different clubs win the BUNDESLIGA it was not always Bayern Muenchen. Sometimes it was Dortmund of Bayer Leverkusen and many more different teams. And they always fight each other and have really good matches and after they are all happy friends again

By the way I am surprised to how many people are responding to this topic I thought this clan is full of Handegg People but it seems there are people that have a taste for that beautiful game called Football

I really wish Football was bigger over here, It is basically the one sport I actually enjoy watching. Although I probabaly could find crap loads of football games on T.V. if I actually looked. Too bad I'm too lazy for that.

I actually like English football, comparing with Dutch football ..
The level of the minor clubs is lower ofcourse, but the difference is a lot less between the high and low clubs comparing to here.

Bundesliga isn't really on TV here so can't say much about that

Bundesliga is incredible since we have the 1st Bundesliga where the better clubs play and the 2nd Bundesliga where the not so good clubs play like my hometown Aachen
But clubs from the 2nd Bundesliga can move up into the 1st Bundsliga which is what makes it so interesting.

Furtz, it works like that in every country in the world, where football (not handegg ) is being played.
In the UK, there are 3 or 4 leagues and Germany has 3, only 2 are worth noting however as the 3rd one is hardly ever seen or heard of (unless something is on the news about 50 hooligans beating each other to death).
