Fubar Moments

I guess I need a BFBC2 confession:

These are the FUBAR moments that I am usually good for...
->I'm an engineer riding in a tank sustaining damage under heavy fire; I quickly get out and hit the wrong directional arrow and pull the trigger..and BOOM- rocket into the tank and Im pushing daisys...

-> I'm clearing houses or huts..and spot a few enemies. I toss my gernade inside and RUSH in only to be greeted by my own fragments of shrapnel...

Been there, done that.

I find I get fooled by the 'no friendly fire' of regular mode, and chase my own grenades too often.

By the way, heard of that East Indian fellow who's traveled the world and worked almost every profession?

I was flyin the good ol Huey on Phu Bai, and an enemy shot a RPG at me. It missed me by a mile, yet still managed to somehow destroy my choppa

This fubar moment happened in my favour:

I destroyed a flying Black Hawk using a C4 charge I tossed straight up into the air, killing all 4 passengers inside even though the C4 was more than 5 meters away from the helicopter.

How about this, about a month ago we had a game where it was like 7 or 8 DFA on one team, and like 2 people on the other team.

So were on Arica Harbor rush, we have i think 5 or 6 tanks, basically all of the ones on the map XD.
So we start rolling down into the second capture base (the town) in a giant column formation, when we get to the middle of town we see some enemies popping up. We take down the first few, and then they get smart and start using rockets. Guess who becomes the object of their wrath? Yeah, me, out of 4 or 5 other tanks, they chose me. Needless to say I was trapped with tanks on both sides of me and rockets pounding me.

So my tank explodes and I figure, ok now I can just hide behind the smoke and wait for the convoy to roll on. WRONG! The enemy engineers decide I havent felt enough pain yet. So they ignore the other tanks, and get on the wall behind me, and shoot me...yeah, just my luck.

Driving a tank with alot of DFA people on the same team. I get booted from the game and a few seconds later I hear people in the party complaining about the enemy stealing the tank. Its days like that when I want to punt my router out the window.

speaking of the situation with the tank in a blackhawk with my friends just about to do the repair mid flight unfortunately i fire a rocket instead lol. lucky for me my friends found it funny. Times i have been playing cod then play battlefield wondering why am i crouching why cant i knife this guy

lol i do the same thing, only i jump off high places and try to use a parachute

Playing Conquest and eagerly running around waiting for the map to open up and the next set of M-Comm stations to appear...

I just knifed someone and got a hitmark .. then he ran and i noscoped him with my sniper lol

haha yeah jumping out of the chopper to repair it and taking out the rocket has hapend to me to...on hardcore...YAY

One which plauged me this weekend (for those of you who were unfortunate enough to have me as the engineer in your chopper).

Having 'abandonment issues' again...

One that had me embarassed:

In a rush game....MCOM base B is blaring tons of firing and dead tangos around the mcom station..I push through the carnage to diffuse the charge....
"dammit..I keep picking up kits and cant diffuse the fing base wtf..Shit....shit....its about to blow"
My Squadmate (Utsilk or Vulgar) calmly states, "Um dead, we are on offence......"
After along pause...."um Ok- falling back to overwatch....."

Been there. Done that. Made me smile.

Playing rush hardcore, only 2 mins at a time today. Game just started and I'm about to jump through a window in a building that is next to a mcom station. After I break the glass and jump up I get a smoke grenade to the back from a teammate. Someone I haven't played with, ria or kakkura might know him. Tell him thanks for me.

new one for me:
Playing defence on Atacama in Hardcore mode.

Innocently began to throw mines out the window of a second story building, at that time a atv cruises by, hits a bump gets some air by my window and hits my mine.....POOF atv down driver down, I AM DOWN!

That .. is .. AWESOME

I would be laughing my ass of if that would happen
