I've seen people say thats it's not cheap to run a dedicated server privately for a clan but um... i just found this. Server List and when i got to the checkout its just .80 cents a month for your own server. this site is legit and ya the servers are currently limited to the games they have on the list but i know for sure that they will have BF3 servers so.. if it is this cheap i think we should consider getting one when BF3 comes out.

Hmm, i'm not so sure about it ..
Every clan I know runs there server(s) via Gametracker, and it's more expensive then that ..

As stated we are considering expanding to the PC with the launch of BF3, but this really depends on the interest for it.
We're already looking into getting a Ventrilo server for the CoH branch, hence we could make it rather large and therefore cover both the CoH and BF3 PC branch, if we get one such branch.
In addition renting servers isn't really that expensive. If we open up for donations and everyone, on average, chips in like $5 that will keep us going for a very long time. I am also looking into getting some sponsorships, but would appreciate some help with this.

BF3 Servers will be very expensive I predict because the game demands a lot from the servers. Furthermore, going for cheap servers will not be a good idea tbh. To cut to the chase; you need good response time, good tick-counter and good options on the servers:)
