Aim Sens. Discussion

Hello gentleman of the forum,

I am just hoping to have an active discussion pertaining to what we feel is lacking or benefits our level of aim sensitivity. I realize that this is largely preferential, but, to some measure, it does have an overall effect on individual capability.

I personally change mine everytime I play, and I would really love to find a common setting, but for me it is situational, and it hurts my game making such frequent adjustments. I'm always changing/adapting to something new. Every game I've played w/ dfa members I've probably changed my sensitivity atleast to a 3 point degree.

Please, I want as many of your opinions as I can gather.

I have not really messed with the sensitivity. Maybe I should test it out and see how it affects my gameplay.

I play either max sens, or 7/10 - 8/10 of the sens.
It helped me out a lot when shot in the back, so I can turn quick enough to kill him anyway.

Though, when I notice it will get long range, f.e. arica harbor, US pushed back into uncap and I will shoot from the flag point as I hate spawnraping, here is when I put sens lower as I don't really need to turn fast, but it helps aiming better on small targets.

I am playing on sensitivity 4/10. I tried messing around up to 6/10, but I find 4/10 the best combination of accurate long-range fire and flexible close quarters fighting to me personally.

I don't really know what my sensitivity is, I messed with it a year ago when the game first came out but it's quite slow compared to something I'd use for a game like CoD.

Let's keep 'em coming. Hopefully we'll reach something like an arithmetic average. I'll tally everything if nobody polls. Hopefully we can get 10 opinions. I lowered mine today to just above half and did very well, but it slowed my reaction speed so my kamikaze efforts (only in pubs or squadrush) were limited to 2 or 3 kills of a squad instead of all of 'em. Did I ever mention how much I hate randoms and useless, campy snipers? <--Needed a quick vent

Yeah that means around the 9-10 range for me.
