i honestly was not a fan of guild wars even though i've played a ton of MMO's; however, Guild Wars 2 seems to be doing everything right.
instead of quests there's dynamic events, your actions affect the game world, more community/social air to gameplay, no 'Holy Trinity" (tank, healer, DPS), you attack in the direction your facing not who your targeting per say, instead of instant death you go into a downed state in which any class can revive you from, personal character story based on decisions and actions..
And last but certainly not least multiple races and high customization of everything from your character to armor color (multiple tiers and hundreds of color variations) and appearance. (you can take the traits off of good armor and give them to the armor that you like the look of)
i dont know about you guys but i'm for sure gonna give this game a shot.
