In House 1 v 1 Tournament Discussion Topic

Proposed 1v1 Tournament Ideas

-Gametype: VP Control

-For the proposed tournament, members would first sign up to be included in the tournament.

-Once the tournament commences, it will be the responsibility of the players to challenge and play each other.

-Wins will be determined by best 2 out of 3.

-For the first two games, players will take turns playing as both Axis and Allies. If it comes to a third game, the player with the VP lead chooses their faction.

-Currently the map order will be Langres -> Angoville -> Semois

-The tourney duration will be 3 weeks.

-Replays MUST be saved.

-The loser is in charge of reporting losses and final scores for each map played.

-The tourney is not elimination base, but win based. Players will be ranked number of wins.

Hell yeah, count me in, I love 1v1 matches, I'm eager to see what you guys have in store when it comes to COH

Should we perhaps have a topic where match results are posted along with links to all three replays?

Also, is the tournament on, or will it start at a later date?

The only thing i would change is having both keep the VP totals in each game. You know i am old and forgetful sometimes.

I think we can start as soon as we can all agree on the set-up. I think the rules are fine, so sign me up.
