Okay, now this is all stuff we already know, but as an intro video I thought it was pretty good and quite humorous.

General and simple stuff. My advice to not being a noob: find people to play with. Teamwork and getting a second perspective on your performance. Hai thar DFA!

Also, his opinion of recon is somewhat... strange. The most effective recon is not long range, hiding in a bush with a mortar strike, but medium-long range with C4 where you are actually within range of spotting and one-hit killing.

Do not underestimate the use of a long-range-intel-providing-and-covering-your-ass-recon though

Only he can't provide much intel at long range since you can't spot beyond 70 meters.

The spotting range is high, and if the target should be juuust outside it, then you can just say it ^^

I would rather have a recon mid range than long. I'm sure in saying that they are more effective, because they can aim without rifle drop and their motion mines are easy to deploy.

Oh m'God, does this same damned debate have to show up on every thread where 'recon' gets mentioned?

Anyway, I nearly fell on the floor laughing when he said (in the video) "I'm a sniper I'm a sniper I'm a sniper..."
