New Patch, Axis seems OP?!

There is alot of complaining about axis being to strong in 2.602.
It seems that ppl where to much getting to used to easymode allies, especially vs PE.
Imo, also some maps and unbalanced starting positions play a big part.
What do you guys think?

I agree on the maps and starting positions, i disagree with Axis being OP. Really the only thing i seem to be having a tough time as the Allies, is that it seems as though Wher can now field more units quicker. I know that all the losses i have come from my own mistakes or being outplayed. It's really that simple. I guess there could be an argument for the OP issue at higher levels idk.

I think you hit the spot Software. Depending on the map certain favours certain factions. E.g. for flooded plains 2 mg42's (1 in the house by the bridge; 2nd covering south of the high fuel) can effectively shutdown flanks to a huge area of the map if starting top. Buffs to PE are quite interesting, I used the Hotchkiss for the first time and it worked . I think most players are not use to seeing certain strategies employed therefore complaining out of frustration. I also noticed when I'm facing roos in 2.602 I'm much more confident. I wish they would fix the panther call in bug though, spending 1000mp for a single panther can certainly tip the balance of a battle.

Right, Roos are fail now. But yeah, there are nuf players that still think certain tactics that where powerfull in 2.601 still work in 2.602 Its funny to see.
Btw, i never had that Pantherbug, but it there seems to be an slight chance that you only get 1 when your popcap is to low.
Also i think Relic shoud give us as many unticks as possible, so we can play the maps we like only.

Couldn't agree more.

The map I always end up unticking is Beaux Lowlands.

Right now i have Carpiquet and Wrecked Train unticked, i usually had Blowlands and Flooded unticked. I have read many complaints about Carp. and after the patch i can't seem to win a game on WT, even though they changed it around a little. I had better luck with it before.
