Okay kids, so we've decided to 'relax' our rules regarding the use of C4, Rockets, Mortars, Tanks, Stationary ATs, UAV missiles, etc., on M-Comm stations....

As a clan we do ascribe to taking the 'tactical high-road' in our games (although I myself admittedly can become an awful C4-whore...), so when should we resort to using explosives?

"When we are losing" is the obvious answer, and to that ends we get just such a warning buzzer when the attacking team runs below 20 tickets.

For anyone who needs a 'guide' for when to begin blasting the M-Comms, that's a good one.

When the squad leader decides so really. I don't think people using C4 because they think it's quicker is good, if your attempts at arming fail and your running low on tickets, that when.

Just as a note it's soon going to take 24 C4 packets to blow an MCOM, so the usefulness of C4ing to destroy an MCOM will be reduced, still awesome for trapping.

    I resent the misleading title!

And you pretty much answered it yourself: when the team is desperately losing and the squad captain issues the order Smile

Wow. 24? Will each one get a +50 Damage Objective bonus or what? That will actually encourage C4-ing just because of all the points you can get for it...

Ummmm, technically their halving damage by explosives to MCOM's. So you shouldn't get more points from it.

Well, so that's what I mean.... Does each one now give you +25? Or +20 with a +10 squad-attack order? Or, or... you get the idea... Just curious, as it could affect things quite a bit depending on how they work it. Guess we'll just have to wait and see, eh? (omg that sounds so... canadian...)

You have to do a certain amount of dmg to get the +50 score, so if they reduce the C4 damage then you'll need to use more charges to get the same amount of score. Either way your maximum potential will not have changed.
