Probably not the best place to put this but..
Whenever Im using a shotgun, I notice that its near impossible to get a hitmark on an enemy while side strafing. Is there any way to fix this (like aiming in front of the enemy), or do I just need to stop moving quick to shoot?

It happens at all ranges, close quarters to long range. If I'm really close it doesn't affect, but otherwise it can be tough for me to get a hitmark

Anyway, back to the sniping business Smile

I was thinking about us using the M24/GOL/M95 with the usual 6x scope. I'm free in about 1 hour's time if anyone's up for it?

It could also be good for teamwork and communication as we'd all need to work well to cover the man going for the arm and give him directions so that he can avoid as much contact as possible.

___M24 + magnum ammo + ammo upgrade. two-story building, hide in back with shade under. ___-
Shade under meaning sitting in the BACK of the house as to not reveal muzzle flash. In a building to provide 360 cover. 2nd floor to force the enemy to breach from minimal angles, giving me a better chance of survival. magnum ammo so I can keep my kills on a single shot. Ammo upgrade so I wont need to have an assault give away my post. and M24 because, well... its my baby! >: D

Actually, someone did that - Abahab I think. He would tracer dart an enemy in the face and of course be able to track them even when they went behind cover. The cover didn't matter, the ol' CG just locked on and he could wait to fire and it took 'em out all the same...

Y'know, when I first joined DFA there was a thread (is it around here somewhere? or on the old forum?) called something like "Abahab = God", and I didn't quite get it. Didn't even get to play with him for a long while.

Anyway, I think now I do get it.

I doubt that was Abahab to be honest. If he lays down his SPAS, he dies. Not that I would know since I've never seen him do it, but I'm kind of hoping for it since it would mean there still is hope for us to kill him some time.

30 points planting a tracer dart into someones face, watching the rocket take a 90 degree turn around a corner then slip through a window frame, that's just fun.
