Just ordered a new computer and should be here by next week. Now can any one recommend a good video editing software program? Been looking at Sony Vegas programs.

Yes, but usually because you're going to Film School or some such and your whole class is buying them and the school gets an uber-discount or something... We're talking about professional grade stuff here, over a $1000...
Btw, I think FCP as it is called, is only usable on Macs I believe... (I use a MacBook Pro)

professional programs cost serious bank...i know photoshop runs usually around $700...at least it did back when i was big into it

Yeah, and when you combine some of these things, you can more or less pixel by pixel edit every single friggin frame of your movie...

I use FCP, i didn't pay a dime for it. super easy to find torrents for it. and Storm, awesome choice in computer. ASUS
