DFA prides itself on having a strict and thorough recruitment. At times we have had 10 trialists simultaneously, and we are unable to effectively evaluate this high number of trialists. Consequently the amount of active trials should automatically limit itself by the thoroughness of our admission process.

We will always read new applications, but only very good applications will get a chance at joining. Do not be dishearted, this does not mean you have to be able to phrase yourself like a poet, but it means you must display a certain set of attributes and attitudes that we in DFA value highest through the contents of your application. Writing a good application means you display a set of attributes in teamplay-oriented playstyle and the mature and casual personality we want in DFA, combined with a serious and devoted effort at joining. We will not spend any time reading half-hearted applications, but every thorough and serious attempt at writing a good application will receive the attention it deserves.

This way we ensure only people who are ideal DFA material join the clan; teamplay oriented and mature but still casual.

Everyone are still welcome to apply, but you need to know that the application readers will be very critical and strict. We will only admit applicants who impress us by the quality of their application and its contents, so if you are planning on applying, make sure you do it properly and do your best in showing us who you are. Few applicants will make it to member status, so do your best with the application, and we will give it the full attention that it deserves.

Thank you for your interest in DFA, and good luck!

Thought we closed it because we had so many members wich made us not get the time to know eachother?
I'm wondering, do we want to be a clan with pro's, able to rip up any game or fun mainly?

We won't be getting many new members with our new recruitment policy. There will be some, but not many.

I think the best way to answer your second question is simply by referring to the DFA motto: pro teamplay in a casual and mature atmosphere. We want to play like pros and win, but we also want to have fun and relax at the same time.

The idea of DFA is to embrace teamwork to win the game but fun is an important element. Some players are more serious about winning than others. With a bit of practice you can generally observe good teamwork while being a cock and fooling around. Certain veterans who certainly don't live near each other and don't have user names starting with M and A are an example of this.

tl dr: pretty much, play with tactics in mind and have fun.

Thats what I get out of DFA anyways.

We just like to have applicants 'sign off' that they have read the recruitment policy....
