They said they wouldn't make any new Halo game... I kinda knew they weren't being honest =P

I always knew they would Bungie without Halo is like pie without custard it sucks.

So happy about this though I love HALO !

Halo 4 teaser trailer was shown at E3! WhAT?!!!!!!!????!! WOOOO!!!!

I love halo and all but come on. Can't they make something else, at least to prove to us they can.

Halo 4, to me, is the embodiment of commercialism. Bungie said they wouldn't create another Halo, and this is just like the fate of the Call of Duty series with Treyarch: rip-offs. Cheap copies produced purely with the intention of making a profit. Of course every game developer has that goal, but some still work very hard to maintain a high quality product rather than one that just has economically lucrative properties.

bungie is lost to Microsoft. they got tired of them and moved in with acti-blizzard. there was always going to be another Halo. beat Halo 3 on legendary and wait for after the credits and you could have figured that out, i just wandered how long it would be before they started using halo as a bigger cash crop or if Microsoft would actually try and make something original for once. (guess not)

And I think Bungie has done that way better then treyarch and infinity ward have. Halo Reach was such a better game in any aspect then all the COD's since COD4. I know microsoft was pushing Bungie to poop out more Halo games, but they did a great job making them, especially with Reach.

Bungie did a fantastic job with the Halo games. Though I was no fan of Halo: Reach, I realise it was a great game. I know it sounds like a contradiction. The quality was high, but I just didn't like all the classes and such. I therefore have great respect for Bungie.

When it comes to Halo 4, I wouldn't get my hopes up. It's being developed by a team suckling from the commercial teet, and as such will only be milking customers rather than providing a high quality product.

My point of view aswell, treyarch produced a low quality game which sold to a bunch of 12 yr olds who bought it because of the Call of Duty name. The whole call of duty franchise is running very thin. I am only anxious to see how they rap up the campaign on MW3, other than that the multiplayer looks very similar to MW2 with minor improvements

'All the classes and such' don't really have that much of an impact on the actual gameplay, save for the differences in armour abilities.

Personally, I liked Reach the most but the MP hasn't changed an awful lot since Halo 2 tbh.

As for singleplayer and story and all this. I actually liked Reach and the original game the most. I really do hope Halo 4 brings an epic ending to the storyline. I don't think the MP is going to be very different from what we have in Reach atm.

Has anyone noticed that Bungie is remaking Halo 1? I actually think I am looking forward to that more than I do to Halo 4 atm.
