Don't know how many people in this clan are fans of the NBA but the finals are set.

    Dallas Mavericks versus Miami Heat.

Who do you guys think is taking this?

I feel you. LeBron, D-Wade and Bosh were all some of my favorite players. Was pretty happy to see them all come together in Miami.

No one is gonna beat the Heat. Even though the Mavericks are hyped because they have beaten the Heat twice in the REGULAR season, the playoffs change everything, and the heat will not lose the series. I say its 4-1 Heat or atleast 4-2, but no game 7.

I dont know the mavericks are doing very well. They beat my team Los Angeles Lakers. So there is no reason why they cannot give the heat a good game.

    I agree.

If I remember correctly the Heat were winless against the Celtics and the Bulls in the regular season. Then comes the playoffs and the Heat take care of both of them back to back in five games a piece. The Playoffs is a different animal. So saying well the Mavs beat them twice in regular season isn't really telling as the Heat have already proved.

I think this can go to seven though. Both teams are excelling at the right time. Both teams are looking unbeatable. Both teams are dominating late in the game. It's going to be an awesome series regardless of the winner.

Based on who they've played in the Playoffs I am more impressed with the Heat. The Mavs took down the Trailblazers who is a better team than the 76ers which the Heat faced in the first round. But after that the Heat faced the Celtics, who were a far better team this year than the Lakers and the same can be said about the Bulls over the Thunder.

I am going to say Heat in 6 or 7.

Regarding the NBA I have nothing productive to add to the conversation tongue

My hockey team (The Vancouver Canucks) have made it to the Stanley Cup Finals. Whoo-hoo! Hope they make it this time. It's been like, 40 years or something, since they last got it.
