If I remember correctly the Heat were winless against the Celtics and the Bulls in the regular season. Then comes the playoffs and the Heat take care of both of them back to back in five games a piece. The Playoffs is a different animal. So saying well the Mavs beat them twice in regular season isn't really telling as the Heat have already proved.
I think this can go to seven though. Both teams are excelling at the right time. Both teams are looking unbeatable. Both teams are dominating late in the game. It's going to be an awesome series regardless of the winner.
Based on who they've played in the Playoffs I am more impressed with the Heat. The Mavs took down the Trailblazers who is a better team than the 76ers which the Heat faced in the first round. But after that the Heat faced the Celtics, who were a far better team this year than the Lakers and the same can be said about the Bulls over the Thunder.
I am going to say Heat in 6 or 7.
